Oh this little thing...

What is Afro-Indy Chic? Its a double meaning really. The first describes me. I'm a natural lady *picking hair* and my name is Indy (india).  The second describes the style I seem to follow. Africa inspired , and Independent styles. I like to do my own thing. :)

  How did I come up with the Afro-Indy Chic? Well *scratching my head*  I ran across a DIY for a t-shirt necklace on pinterest. Instantly I was ready to start cutting up shirts! I'd make them, put them on then and while looking in the mirror say to myself "This isnt me..BUT ITS SO CUTE!" I then started looking for tutorials on urban, African inspired jewelry. And yah know what? I didn't find much of anything. So I starting tweaking the D.I.Y.s I did find to suit my taste.

 This quote is my mission. I want to give my readers the tools that I've found and teach thier minds to think outside the box. :)
